Scope:

Design of the stormwater network, river training and flood protection works of the Community of Anixi

Description:

The area belongs to the Community of Anixi and is situated at the upstream part of the Northern Suburbs of the Attika basin. The project includes the construction of a stormwater network and rehabilitation/maintenance of existing pipes.
The project design takes into account the environmental protection restrictions of the surrounding area.
The works include:
- The network length is 4,3 km
- The main technical works are circular pipes Φ400 - Φ1400 and maintainance, junction, drop manholes.

Implementation:

For the project design, the preliminary flood protection and stormwater network study and the surveying investigations of these projects were used.
The project was carried out by using modern design methods such as GIS and CAD applications and hydraulic modeling. In house software was developed when needed.
