Final study of the secondary sewer network of the Municipality of Ag. Stefanos and the Communities of Anixi and Krioneri

The project areas belong to the Municipality of Ag.Stefanos and the Communities of Krioneri and Anixi (Region of East Attika).
The project design takes into account the environmental protection restrictions of the surrounding area.
The proposed works are 56 km long and they include:
- sewage collection pipes Φ200 - Φ350
- pump station and pressurised pipe line for the northern–northeastern part of Krioneri
- maintainance, junction, drop manholes
The construction has been designed to be carried out both with open trench and pipe jacking methods.

Stormwater and sewage network study of the Communities of Ekali, Drosia, Stamata, Rodopoli, Anixi, Ag.Stefanos, Dionisos and Krioneri

The project areas belong to the Municipality of Ag.Stefanos and the Communities of Ekali, Drosia, Stamata, Rodopoli, Anixi, Dionisos and Krioneri. The study areas are situated in the upstream part of the northern suburbs of the Attica basin and they have 12 basic streams, 7 of which fall into Kifissos river and the other 5 in the lake of Marathonas (Haradros river basin).
Major design problems were erosion and high sediment yield. The project design takes into account the environmental protection restrictions of the surrounding area.

Design of water infrastructure for a major port facility

The wastewater collection works include the main sewers pipeline, pumping station and twin pressure mains.
The wastewater treatment plant includes the full extent of necessary substructures designed to provide for the 3-stage treatment of an 18.000 equivalent population of industrial wastes. The project  included the full spectrum of civil and mechanical engineering design.
The final discharge pipes include the collector pipe transporting the effluent from the WWT plant to the sea, incuding an underwater pipeline and all the auxilliary structures.

Aposelemis dam, water treatment and supply works in northern Crete island

The dam is 56 m heigh. It is of rockfill type with an impervious clay core, upstream and downstream rock cells, spillway, spillway delivery canal and flip bucket
- The Lasithi plateau diversion to the Aposeslemis reservoir includes a TBM excavated 3,5km long and 14% steep tunnel
- The water treatment plants include pre-ozonation, coaggulation, sedimentation, filtering, post-chlorination and sludge treatment
- The main pipelines from the dam to the water treatment plant, ~ 8 km long, consist of D1200 and D1100 steelpipes and 2 tunnels (1590, 2050m long).
