Scope:
Dam break analysis and flood wave propagation due to potential failure mechanisms. Emergency Action Plan (EAP).
Description:
Potential failure mechanisms (overtopping and piping) were considered. 1D and 2D flood wave propagation were modeled. Inundation maps were produced in order to consider the consequences and the evacuation safety plan. An EAP was implemented considering the dam break analysis results.
